Hi! 

My Fantasy Hostess Club's development is going along smoothly and I'm aiming to release the game hopefully before 2024 ends. We've already garnered approximately 35 wishlists so far on Steam which is already a huge number for me since, really, I only expected 1 besides the ones from friends and family so thank you so much!! 

If you're not aware, a lot of the updates on My Fantasy Hostess Club (MFHC) are regularly posted on the developer's (that's me! GenKizune!) Twitter and on the RPGMaker forum. However, I've decided to post some semi-updates here as well. Yay!

OPULENCE PREMIERE

This week, there is a special focus on expanding what you can do in Limerence City, the location where MFHC is set. Specifically, major additions to an establishment called Opulence Premiere was recently added to the current build of the game. Yes, that's right! The other hostess branch you can manage. A complete storyline delves into Opulence's night shift and goes over the obstacles in hosting difficult customers. Can you, the manager, pass the Glitter Trial? A trial designed to test new businesses if you can survive the hosting world.

PLAYTESTING UPDATE

Currently, two playtesters and myself are hard at work to see how we can balance and make the gameplay loop of hosting more exciting, hence why Opulence Premiere was added in the first place. A lot of the animations based on customer responses stemmed from the playtesters' feedback and so far, it has net positive reactions from those interested in MFHC. I have reached the 3rd level of the game and I've clocked in about 5 hours. To shorten the time to reach end-game, I've lowered the Prestige and money requirements to progress through the main storyline. These changes were made so the player can access the more fun activities that they can do sooner.

NEXT STEPS

Going forward, I will be testing the Glitter Trial stages further to make sure it's possible for players to charm every customer without the need of improved clothing and dresses unlike its counterpart branch.  Bye for now!
